After 4 days at a wonderful scientific meeting in Göttingen, Germany, Bill traveled to Seville, Spain to work with his colleague, Lucía Tabares. He arrived on Sunday, and Monday was a holiday (El Día de la Inmaculada Concepción - which would make for a short gestation -- only 3 weeks till Christmas...).

5. A stop at La Barranca, Lucía's beautiful hacienda in the pueblo Valencina de la Concepción, in the hills above the city. These are her two very friendly dogs.

6. Lucía, her son's girlfriend Julia, and son Guillermo. Julia is a university student, majoring in biotechnology. Guille starts his new job in Madrid this week. It is with a big engineering company (bridges and such).
