Wilderness - Dave & Becky - Reynard
Bill attended a Wilderness meeting in Buena Vista, and drove to Salida to visit friends of forty-plus years, Becky & Dave Berry. When he arrived back at the cabin, he had a visitor.

5. The interior is as uniquely spectacular as the outside. Dave and Becky built from scratch the canoe hanging from the ridge pole. Yes, that's a billiard table.

6. A model, built entirely from memory by Becky's grandfather. Dave built the case. That's the stage builder in the picture at the lower right...

11. Have we really been friends for forty-six years?

11a. Yes! Here they are with son Tommy at our cabin (he is our youngest-ever visitor - 3 weeks old), now in his mid-40s.

12. The drive through the Arkansas River valley is dangerous - keeping one's eyes on the road is a challenge. This is Mt. Princeton (I think)

13. Back at the cabin I switched roles - from guest to host. I could not resist taking pictures of this beautiful creature. I put out several batches of food, and each time I went out, s/he merely walked off the deck, stopped about ten yards away and sat down, watching me, and then returned before I was back inside the cabin.
