More cabin fun

Emmy's week home after a summer in San Francisco included a two-day visit to the cabin, and a hike around 'Emmy's loop' (Gore Range Trail, then the ridge behind the cabin). Jen and I hiked around the beaver ponds, where I found a Rocky Mountain Brownie - yum!

Dan's hike to Upper Slate Lake Dan hiked to Upper Slate Lake and back in 9 hours! While still on Pebble Creek (at the Upper Ponds), he saw TWO MOOSE! Then, in the woods about half way to the Gore Range Trail, he saw ANOTHER MOOSE! Click on small images to see big ones.

The Ft. Collins Swartzes - Susie, Dave, Lukas, and Lydia - visited. I slept on their bed, and played with them a lot. Dave took a lot of pictures of me.
