On May 26, Emmy graduated from Johns Hopkins Medical School. Barb and Bob and Kristen joined Joan and Bill for the festivities, which included a birthday bash for Barb. During Emmy's five years in Baltimore, she earned an MPH degree in addition to her MD. Emmy received several honors, including AOA (Medical Honor Society), Delta Omega (Public Health Honor Society), The Watt-Hansell Endowment (full scholarship for MPH), the Johns Hopkins Henry Strong Denison Award for Medical Student Research, and the AMWA (American Medical Women's Association) Award for Medical Student Research. Smarty pants!
