A fiesta

In celebration of a vibrant scientific collaboration, held at The Living Roof Hostel.
The evening was warm with a beautiful sunset as we looked across rooftops to the Cathedral and Giralda. Then after it grew dark the lights shown on the cathedral and the moon rose. All this to the strumming of a guitar (a young local musician). After tapas, sangria, champagne, beer, castanets appeared, and a second guitar, and the singing, clapping, and dancing began. Events wound down about 2am. The students gave Bill a beautiful etching, which now adorns the wall above his desk, of the Giralda as seen from the Patio de las Banderas,
