New life for grandfather clock

In 1950, Bill's dad, Paul, bought a grandfather clock. The works were made in the Black Forest of Germany, and the mahogany case was made by the Hanson Clock Company of Rockford, IL. The clock has been in our house in Denver since the late seventies. A year ago we had the mechanism cleaned (but not disassembled), but it worked only for about eight months (it wouldn't stop chiming). So we called Karl Wrench, owner of the Antique Clock Clinic. Karl completely refurbished the clockworks, replacing quite a number of bushings and rods. He also polished each component, and now the clock is working perfectly again.
