Footers were poured earlier on Lot 3, and the forms for the foundation walls were half up. Paul wanted to get the footers poured for Lot 2, because footers have to be poured on dry ground, and it has been raining a lot. So he covered the excavation floor with plastic for a few days, then had Mark excavate down another foot (it is a really deep hole!) and poured the footers. Now, he says, it can rain all it wants, but work can go forward.
