Thanksgiving 2000
Emmy and her friend Todd Kerpelman arrived from opposite coasts on Wednesday afternoon. I greeted them in my turkey costume at the airport (the sign on the door says "no dogs allowed" but says nothing about turkeys), and Dr. Jen and Dan came over for dinner.
On Thursday we went to Marian and Glenn's at Shalom Park for dinner. Dory came too, and brought along Sharon, Bob, Debbie, and Teri. Christie didn't come, but Laurie, Archie, Melanie, and Ian came. Altogether we had 16 for dinner, and Anna was the only missing grandchild of M. & G. (she was at college in San Antonio).

Dr. Jen was on call over the weekend, and couldn't come to the cabin. The skiing was pretty good, the food was great, and the games were typically competitive. Emmy and I slept in the downstairs bedroom, newly remodeled and turbo-heated (sort of).
